In February of 1999, Radio City Music Hall closed for it's first major renovation since it's debut on December 27, 1932. From it's famed marquee to it's lush velvet seats, with this renovation Radio City Music Hall was to be returned to all it's original glory.

Soon after opening it's doors, Radio City quickly became the favorite first-run theatre for moviemakers and moviegoers alike. Since 1933 more than 700 movies have opened there including the original King Kong; Breakfast at Tiffany's; and The Lion King. Every holiday season, over a million visitors make The Radio City Christmas Spectacular a sell-out success since it premiered over 70 years ago. From Ann Margaret to MTV, America's brightest stars have spent decades shining in the spotlights of Radio City's great stage. It's here fans gathered to watch, listen and applaud for the performances they'd cherish for a lifetime – right from the very seats we offer today.

At risk of losing the chairs where for six decades, audiences sat, thrilled by legendary entertainers – we were able to rescue a limited number and offer them to you for sale. Designed by Donald Deskey, all of Radio City's furniture and decorative details complemented the theatre's interior spaces – the result was that every seat in Radio City Music Hall was a great seat, and those very same seats are now able to grace your home theater.
